Bauers' epic HR rocks Dodgers, helps move Brewers one win from World Series and more — today's sports signal.
The MLB playoffs are heating up and it's shaping up to be an exciting day for baseball fans. The Milwaukee Brewers are on the brink of advancing to the World Series after a thrilling performance by Rowdy Bauers, who hit an epic home run to take down the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Brewers are holding onto their lead, thanks in part to a first-pitch home run by Brice Chourio, and are now just one win away from the championship series. Meanwhile, in Houston, the Astros are parting ways with manager Dusty Baker's replacement, but the team still managed to secure the AL West title.
In other news, the NBA season is getting underway and the Golden State Warriors are dealing with a significant injury blow, as Kristaps Porzingis will be out indefinitely. On the soccer front, it's been a wild ride in the Champions League, with Paris Saint-Germain taking the lead against Manchester City, Real Madrid staging a comeback, and Liverpool scoring six goals in a thrilling match. However, Real Madrid will be without Vinicius Jr. for their next four games, including the highly anticipated Clásico, after he received a red card for pulling an opponent's hair.
